April 9, 2015
Johnson State College men’s basketball senior Ron Adrian is being honored as one of the North Atlantic Conference’s (NAC) “ideal Division III student-athletes.”
During Division III Week, which is being celebrated April 6-12, NAC is featuring student-athletes who truly represent the Division III philosophy. Each of the 10 member institutions nominated a student-athlete to be highlighted.
“Ron exemplifies the best of our Johnson State student-athletes,” said Elaine Harvey, assistant athletic director for external and internal communications. “His work ethic off the playing surface and passion for athletics drives him to be his best. He is a leader among his peers, and we’re proud to have him represent our department on and off campus.”
The 6-foot-1 Adrian graduated from Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons School in Schenectady, N.Y.
More than 180,000 student-athletes at 450 institutions make up Division III, the largest NCAA division both in number of participants and number of schools.
