Northern Vermont University-Lyndon Awards 140 Scholarships for 2018-19

 Northern Vermont University-Lyndon has awarded about 140 scholarships for the 2018-19 academic year to 110 current NVU students, who were recognized at a recent campus social hosted by President Elaine Collins.

The scholarships were awarded from 45 endowed funds.

“These awards matter to our students. Quite often these scholarships make the difference for our students between continuing and completing their degrees or not,” Executive Director of Institutional Advancement Jenny Harris says.

At the event at the Academic and Student Activity Center, Collins and corporate and individual fund donors commended students for “the significant commitment and investment of time, money and hard work that they bring to their educational endeavor,” Harris says.
