Steady Betty to Perform on March 2

Vermont, all-female rockready band set to kick off Women’s History Month at JSC.

February 22, 2017

The Vermont-based female band Steady Betty will perform its blend of music influenced by jazz, rhythm and blues, ska and Latin American drumming March 2 at the Dibden Center for the Arts at Johnson State College.

The 8 p.m. concert is free to the public.

Steady Betty’s mix of genres is called rocksteady, with origins in 1960s Jamaica.
