In a goodbye column in the Stowe Reporter, Nathan Burgess, an alumnus of Johnson State College, writes about his first job out of school as a reporter for the Stowe newspaper and for the Waterbury Record. Burgess is headed to the Boston area to manage a group of community newspapers.
