Talk on Freshwater Streams March 14 at Northern Vermont University-Johnson

Biologist Bob Genter will discuss the health of freshwater streams at 4 p.m. March 14 as part of the Faculty Lecture Series at Northern Vermont University-Johnson. The talk, free for the public, will be at the Stearns Student Center Cinema.
Genter, who recently retired from the NVU-Johnson faculty, will discuss the impacts of heavy metals on streams near the Elizabeth Mine in Orange County, Vermont.
The lecture series is supported by the NVU president’s office and the Vermont chapter of the American Federation of Teachers.
