Talk on Recording Music at Home Sept. 17 at Northern Vermont University-Lyndon
GRAMMY award-winning Northern Vermont University-Lyndon professor Brian Warwick will talk on home-recording techniques for musicians 6-7:30 p.m. Sept. 17 at Samuel Read Hall Library on campus.
The talk, free for the public, will be in the Burke Mountain Room.
Warwick’s presentation, aimed at musicians who want to record with professional results, will address recording on a budget, room acoustics, choosing a Digital Audio Workstation and audio interface, placing microphones, and other topics.
Warwick, a recording engineer and mixer, has worked on eight GRAMMY-winning albums and eight GRAMMY-nominated albums. He has worked with musicians as diverse as “Weird Al” Yankovic,Lucacris, Michael Buble, Flo Rida and Michael Bolton.
