Betty Learned MacDowell ’47 graduated from the Johnson Normal School and went on to teach 1st and 2nd grades at the Underhill Incorporated District (ID) School in Underhill Flats, Vermont. Sixty-five years later, that first class of students honored their beloved teacher with a special class reunion. Read the whole story here as seen in the Burlington Free Press.
