Vaccine Talk Nov. 27 at Northern Vermont University-Johnson

Sociology professor Charles Allan McCoy will discuss vaccinations 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Nov. 27 in the 2018-19 Faculty Lecture Series at Northern Vermont University-Johnson. The talk, free for the public, will be in the Stearns Student Center Cinema.

McCoy’s talk is titled “The Social Characteristics of Americans Opposed to Vaccination: Beliefs about Vaccine Safety vs. Views of U.S. Vaccination Policy.” He teaches at the State University of New York at Plattsburg and is an adjunct instructor at NVU-Johnson.

The lecture series is supported by the NVU president’s office and Vermont chapter of the American Federation of Teachers.
