Vaccine Update

April 29, 2021

NVU Community:

Following are some important updates to vaccine eligibility to be aware of:

  • Save the date! NVU is partnering with the State of Vermont and Walgreens to host a 300-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine clinic on Friday, May 7, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. in ASAC 100 at NVU-Lyndon. The Lyndon campus was chosen for its location in an area of the state needing a boost in vaccine participation. A shuttle from the Johnson campus is planned. The clinic should be live on the registration site within a couple of hours today.
  • All college students are now eligible to register for any vaccine in Vermont starting TODAY.
    • Please be mindful of the vaccination schedule for the two-dose vaccines before registering as there may not be time to complete it before the end of the semester.

*NVU will continue with current travel and household visitation policies through the end of the semester, regardless of any changes announced by the Governor. This includes testing, daily self-attestation, masking, distancing, no cross-household visitation, no travelling, and 7-day quarantine if you do travel with permission. This is necessary to get us to the finish line.*
