Vermont Supreme Court Chief Justice to Speak at Johnson State College

Paul Reiber, chief justice of the Vermont Supreme Court, will speak at Johnson State College Nov. 10 at 11:30 a.m.

Reiber’s talk, free and open to the public, will be in the Ellsworth Room on the second floor of the Willey Library & Learning Center. He will talk during professor Bill Doyle’s American Politics & Government class.

Reiber was a lawyer in Rutland from 1986 until he was appointed to the Supreme Court as an associate justice by then-Gov. Jim Douglas in 2003. He was sworn in as chief justice by Douglas in 2004.
