Warren Miller Skiing Film Screened Feb. 12 at Northern Vermont University-Lyndon
“The Face of Winter,” a film by Warren Miller Entertainment that features world-class skiers and snowboarders on slopes on various continents, will be screened at 7 p.m. Feb. 12 at Northern Vermont University-Lyndon.
The screening, in Room 100 of the Academic and Student Activity Center, is free for the public. The 69th installment of “The Face of Winter” was released in 2018.
Miller, who lived in Washington state and died in 2018, was a legendary skiing filmmaker whose first skiing film was released in 1950. Longtime Sugarbush Resort ski instructor and chief recreational officer John Egan, a U..Ski & Snowboard Hall of Fame inductee, appeared in more than a dozen of Miller’s films.
