LSC Students Forecast for Everest Climb

Paul Giorgio will discuss his recent Everest climb supported by Lyndon State College student forecasters. Haley LaPoint ’09 will talk about her career as a broadcast meteorologist and discuss the value of weather information to society. Haley is a TV meteorologist for WMUR in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Paul Giorgio, of Millbury, Massachusetts, has climbed Everest seven times. Five of those times he has summited and two of those times he made treks for science research.
