Website Draws on Business Professor’s Travel Expertise
Hospitality & Tourism Professor Todd Comen offers insight into summer 2015 tourism

WalletHub recently profiled “2015’s Best & Worst Cities for Summer Travel,” identifying “the most fun-filled and wallet-friendly summer destinations in the U.S.” by examining 13 key metrics, including the cost of the cheapest flight, the number of attractions in each summer vacation spot and other costs once at the destination. Launched by Evolution Finance in 2012, WalletHub is a website offering money-saving tools and information for consumers and small business owners.
WalletHub’s findings feature expert travel commentary, including that from Todd Comen, professor of business at Johnson State College. Comen, who teaches in JSC’s Hospitality & Tourism Management Program, offers insight into the outlook for travel and offers advice for travelers.
