“Welcome” film about veterans to be screened at JSC

The film will chronicles a five-day healing retreat for veterans and their families, will be shown on Nov. 14 at 7 p.m.

The award-winning film “The Welcome,” which chronicles a five-day healing retreat for veterans and their families, will be shown at Johnson State College 7-9 p.m. Nov. 14.

The screening, free and open to the public, will be in room 207 of Bentley Hall. A panel discussion will follow.

The documentary is part of the Welcome Home Project, which aims to foster understanding among veterans and civilians.
