Vermont Law School professor to present annual Ellsworth Lecture on March 23
March 7, 2016
Jared Carter, an assistant professor of law at Vermont Law School, will present Johnson State College’s annual Ellsworth Lecture on Wednesday, March 23, at 7 p.m. in 207 Bentley Hall. His talk, titled “Cuba Libre? Impacts of the New Cuba-U.S. Policy,” will explore the connections between Cuba and the United States in both travel and trade relations.
The event is free and open to the public.
The annual Ellsworth Lecture is funded by the Robert A. Ellsworth Trust and brings visiting scholars to campus to speak publicly about their work. The late Robert A. Ellsworth was a professor at JSC from 1957 to 1973, including several years as chair of JSC’s humanities department, then known as “the social sciences division.”
