Do something north of extraordinary.
Your success at NVU is based on what you’ll do with what you find here. And that goes beyond academics.
Part of our mission is to offer you hands-on volunteer and service experience in the real world, opportunities to build up the community outside the campus, create solutions, and improve people’s lives. It’s a valuable way to learn skills in collaboration, communication, problem-solving, and working with diverse groups of people that you’ll need in any career you choose.
Our Johnson and Lyndon campuses offer clubs and activities focused on community service and student leadership, both in and outside the U.S. You could decide to repair homes after hurricane damage, work with homeless people or people with disabilities, help children strengthen reading skills, or be involved in another project that changes lives — yours and those of others.
